Caravan Against Injustice / People’s Movement Assembly
This caravan was part of global actions against injustice in response to a call by the World Social Forum for the peoples of the world to act in unison against war, poverty, exploitation, and environmental degradation. Atlanta, host city of the first US Social Forum, was the venue for a statewide People’s Movement Assembly, a caravan and rally at the state capitol. We were on a flatbed truck for the caravan. Our friends, the unstoppable Cakalak Thunder radical samba corp, were also in town for this event.
