The Atlanta Sedition Orchestra

The Atlanta Sedition Orchestra (ASO) came together in late 2007 in order to serve radical and progressive organizations by providing a booty-shaking soundtrack. We are a street band in the tradition of New Orleans, Brasil, the Labor Bands of the US, the village bands of Eastern Europe and generally, street music everywhere. We're always recruiting. You can be a virtuoso at your instrument, or someone who hasn't played in years; you can be brand new to playing and willing to learn. We'll be playing benefits, radio shows, marches, demonstrations, protests and shows at local clubs and in the streets. We will support good work, bring some energy to those around us and most importantly, have fun.
